Enterprise-grade finance operations, sized to whoever is asking.

EXP Consulting runs accounting, tax and controllership for US clients — global manufacturers, CPA firms, and businesses posting their first proper close. Same delivery discipline. Scaled to the work in front of it.

Where we come from

Built inside large-scale finance operations.

Our leadership team spent its careers inside large-scale finance operations before building EXP — sixty years between them, at Genpact, EY, PwC and McKinsey — across controllership, US–India cross-border tax and enterprise transition programmes. That is the operating standard behind everything we take on.

Our client base today includes large US manufacturers. We work across every major ERP because our clients do, and we have never asked one of them to move platform to suit us.

The same controls, documentation and review discipline apply whether the engagement is a multi-entity global close or forty individual returns in April.

Three ways in

The work looks different depending on who is asking.

A global manufacturer needs capacity for a transformation already underway. A CPA firm needs returns back review-ready. A growing business needs a finance function it does not want to hire. All three run on the same delivery floor.

Controllership and transformation capacity.

  • Multi-entity close, reconciliation and controls
  • Process migration with documented transition
  • Finance transformation and process redesign

The US finance year

Your load isn’t spread evenly. Neither is ours.

Whether you are closing twelve entities a month or filing four hundred returns in April, the pressure lands on the same handful of dates. We staff to those dates rather than to an annual average — which is the entire reason outside capacity is worth having.

CPA firms

Work sent at US close of business is picked up the same evening in India and returned before the next morning.

What we do

Six practices, one delivery floor.

We work inside the systems you already run. Nothing here requires you to migrate, re-platform, or buy anything from us.

Controllership

Multi-entity close, reconciliations, controls, close calendars and the process documentation that makes a finance function auditable rather than heroic.

BlackLine · ERP-agnostic

Accounting

Bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, inventory, month-end close, and the reporting pack that comes out the other end.

NetSuite · SAP · QuickBooks · Xero

Tax

Federal and state direct tax compliance, sales and use tax, tax accounting, and planning and provision support through the filing year.

Capability centres

Standing up and running an offshore finance team as an extension of yours — hiring, process transfer, controls and steady-state management.

Build · Operate · Transfer

Advisory

Finance transformation, process redesign and the IT infrastructure decisions sitting underneath a finance function that has outgrown its tooling.

Assessment · Design · Implementation

Audit support

Preparation of schedules, sampling, tie-outs and workpaper support for firms and finance teams carrying an audit load they cannot staff internally.

Working to your firm’s methodology

How it starts

Nobody hands over a close process on a first call.

Every engagement we run starts small and gets documented before it gets bigger. The sequence is the same whether you are sending us twenty returns or a multi-entity month-end.

Step 01

Scoping call

Thirty minutes. What you run, what is breaking, and whether we are actually the right answer.

Step 02

Pilot batch

A small, real workload — run in parallel with your own team, so you can compare output against a known standard.

Step 03

Documented transition

Process notes, checklists and review points written down. Not held in one person’s head.

Step 04

Steady state

Agreed turnaround times, a named point of contact, and volume that scales with your calendar.

Where we operate

One market, properly.

Today

United States

Every client we serve is US-based. Our people are trained on US filing requirements, US close conventions and US software — not on a generic global template adapted after the fact.

Our client base includes large US manufacturers. We are not naming them here; ask us on a call.

Next

EU and UAE

We are building indirect tax capability for the EU and UAE as our next markets. We would rather tell you that plainly than list four regions we do not yet serve.

A thirty-minute call, no deck. If we are not the right fit we will say so on the call rather than three weeks into a proposal.
